This is a tutorial on the essential elements of 3D graphics for users of Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, 3ds Max, and other 3D authoring tools. Doug will unpack the key concepts all devs must know in order to be as productive as possible and get the most out of these tools. He will combine live demos of 3D desktop and mobile apps. Regardless of whether you are a newbie or a ninja, there will something for everybody. There will be plenty of opportunity for Q&A, and it will in general be a fun and highly accessible class.
Doug Turner is an Apple alumnus with wide ranging experience in 3D graphics. At Apple he worked on their 3D R&D team, developing advanced rendering systems, and was a member of the team that invented interactive 360 panoramas. Doug has worked and taught internationally with projects in Iceland, Denmark, Finland, Indonesia, and the UK.
